Have not used the econobum - this purchase was made as one of many to "try" different diaper covers to build my stash as I am new to cloth diapering. The quality and design by looks and feel along are very comparable to the Thirsties I have purchased for much more $$$, may not have quite the feel as the Flip covers.
I give this 5 stars due to the quality of the prefolds. I despise the cover. lol. I'm sure it will come in handy when everything else is dirty though. It's VERY thin fabric. I'd say good quality for the price...but the Kawaii covers are nicer. Get it for the prefolds. They're great.
