This washed well, but I can see it will fade. I ordered the medium (pre-pregnancy I am a small). I am 5'7" and it hits at the knee. I would possibly consider wearing this to the grocery store or park, but don't think it is something I would wear out to dinner or anywhere I really cared. It actually fits while pregnant, but I plan to use it mostly for nursing around the house once baby is here.
I bought this dress in anticipation of having some nicer loungewear when I am nursing. It does fit me now, as a 39 week pregnant woman, but I don't want to stretch it out, so I'm not wearing it, but I like the material and I think that it will be great when I am post-partum, although it may be too tight for me to really wear in public.
Easy to use, very comfortable. Thought would be able to dress it up a little bit better - but am able to pull off business casual with a cute little cardigan. fits nicely and is flattering.
