I was happily surprised with the fabric of this nightgown. I was expecting a cotton t-shirt feel to it, but instead it is silky and has a bit of a sheen to it. The only downside is that because of the light color, you can see the outline of nursing pads through the bust. But I knew this would probably be the case before I bought it. I am wearing a small comfortably 9 months pregnant and also foresee myself wearing it all throughout nursing and even after I have finished nursing. That is how comfortable and pretty this nightgown is. Not an easy trait to find in a nursing nightgown. And I know because this is my 5th pregnancy and I've searched everywhere! Japanese weekend also has great nursing pjs...but again unless you buy the black color you can see the nursing pads through the bust. I would love to see a company address this issue!
I am due in a couple weeks and bought this for the end of pregnancy and for nursing postpartum. Overall, very comfy and good quality. The inner bralette offers decent support (at this point at least; I am about a D). The clasps seem to work well. My only complaint would be that the little triangle pieces of fabric that surround your breast (to keep the top up when you unhook the nursing clasps) stick up above the top hem of the gown when not in use and look kind of funny.
Length seems to be my biggest complaint. But other than that, this is a very comfortable and pretty nightgown that supports with its straps and allows for easy nursing with the drop down cups. Every gal should have a pretty nightie when they deliver- it really helps to get out of those yucky hospital gowns.
Super adorable and comfortable gown. I am currently 7 months pregnant and was looking for a nice comfy gown to get me through both my pregnancy and nursing stages. This gown was definitely a good choice! I wear it almost every night and have no doubt that it'll be one of my favorites for nursing too.
I love this stylish nursing chemise. I'm in my 8th month of pregnancy and find it very comfortable and will be able to wear it post pregnancy for nursing. The matching robe is fab with it. Highly recommend. I purchased a medium, prepregnancy I'd be a small and medium fits perfect now.
I really like this nursing chemise, unlike almost all nursing pj's or nursing clothes i have tried on or owned it is very very comfortable, fits well, looks good and is functional. I purchased it at the end of my second pregnancy and wish i would have had it for my first.
Print is even better in person than it looks online. Pink tie under the bust is not actually a drawstring, just tacked onto the front. Not a big deal (maybe good, because the gathering is therefore elastic) but not what I was expecting.
This night gown is lovely. It is soft and pretty, but my 39 week belly is too big to fit in it..the top part fits great and am sure the rest will follow.
