I have worn my Carriwell bands nearly every day since they arrived and love them. I'm glad I have a total of three bands now so I can wash them without going a day without support! They gently support my back and belly and dramatically reduce the pain I was experiencing in both areas. This is my third pregnancy and I wish I had them for the first two!
The slight downsides are that they put a little extra pressure on my bladder and they can roll a little at the bottom if I am sitting for a while; however, both of those "problems" are easily remedied with a quick trip to the restroom and are only minor discomforts.
As a pregnant mother with a back injury ( 4 ruptured dics) I knew I would need a support band. So originally opted for your standard white back support w the velcro band. Hated it. It was wayyy to much pressure on the nerves on my back. I came across this one and decided to give it a try. I LOVE IT !!! It's just the right amount of pressure just where you need it. And has enough belly room. And discrete. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
I bought this due to my OB doctor saying I needed to wear a support belt since I have been having problems with nerve issues. I bought this and even the first day I wore it I noticed a big difference. It helps support your back and also help hold the belly up. It stays in place and never rolls down, I would recommend it to any mom. It really was worth the money!
This really helps sciatic and other issues that seem to come with carrying a baby that likes to sit on my hip bones and rides rather low. I don't have issues with rolling edges on either side or uncomfortable pressure or marks being left. I only needed moderate support and it meets my expectations quite nicely!
I would buy this band again, but only recommend it for early pregnancy. It stays in place well and does help with weight of belly. I would use for second trimester and plan to get something more supportive for 3rd. It is very comfortable, helps hide belly button being seen through clothes and is not too hot.
This seemed to offer some good support, although not much more than a good built-in panel. It was a smidge tight, and seemed like it would create extra lines under summer-weight maternity clothing... also the extra layer in summer seemed like it would be too hot. So I returned.
Great support without feeling too tight. Use this during the day and at night to sleep to prevent back aches. I'm in my 8th month and ordered a medium (pre-pregnancy size 4/6 but have been carrying most of my pregnancy weight in my stomach) which seems to work well so far!
I am carrying all in the front and down low. This band really helps give some support to my stomach that just seems to be hanging in mid air away from my body. It does not help my back as much, but what support it offers my tummy makes up for that.
I was surprised by how supportive this maternity band is for the thin weight of it, however I did feel that after about a week it started to roll and was less comfortable. It helped with my back pain and helped "lift" my baby off my bladder!
I really like my support band. It is comfortable and gives belly support, but doesn't feel tight or binding. I wear mine everyday. It does roll up some in the back, but is not uncomfortable, I barely notice it. I'm happy with my purchase.
I like the fit and comfort. It gives nice light support when you don't have the full belly panel on your pants. My only complaint is that after I washed it once, the hem started coming out. I would suggest hand washing it very gently.
The bottom elastic is a bit tight. I had to send back my first band for a larger size. I ended up cutting off the bottom elastic band and now the larger size feels more comfortable.
I bought these for my daughter. She was having back pain and uncomfortable. She says they are helping her back and are comfortable. She would reccomend these to others.
It fits great and does keep everything nice a smooth under clothing. Wish it had more support, it sounded like it had more support than it actually does.
