bumGenius Diaper Detergent was developed in partnership with Country Save, a well recognized, respected face in the cloth diapering industry. We are excited to be able to release a detergent product specifically designed for use with cloth diapers.

It is free of dyes, optical brighteners, fragrances, enzymes and phosphates. There are 72 loads (based on front loader usage) per box and the scoop has been specially designed for cloth diapers. The product is packaged in an award-winning, environmentally certified box. It is certified for use in HE washers. It is approved for use with bumGenius diapers.

USAGE NOTE: Scoop is sized for normal water conditions. Actual use may have to be modified based on your water type, the age of your child and the condition of your diapers. Use more detergent if you have hard water. Be sure to wash diapers every other day. For best results, rinse poopy diapers using the bumGenius Diaper Sprayer.

I really like the Bum Genius detergent. I had tried Tiny Bubbles previously. Not only it was more expensive and you had to use more (I have a top loading washer), also the diapers still had a smell when they came out of the wash. I use one scoop of bum genius with my hot wash and never have any trouble with my cloth diaper.s They come out smelling clean!

It works better than the home made stuff I was using. I still feel like the diapers loose absorbency, but am unsure if it is the diaper or the detergent.

BumGenius began very small - with $100 worth of product in a tiny green milkcrate stored in a shelf in the kitchen of Jimmy & Jenn Labit. It grew from there to a bookshelf, then a closet, then a bedroom, then a basement and finally, in 2005, the business expanded into a small commercial space. In 2005, they launched the bumGenius product line. This product has provided the primary fuel for the growth of their company. Today, Cotton Babies employs many people in the St. Louis area who work in the warehouse shipping orders, in the retail store helping our local customers, in the offices providing administrative support or in their homes sewing products.

They are proud of the way their company has grown and the positive impact that they are having on families worldwide. Five years ago, Cotton Babies began providing enough income to feed just their family. Today, Cotton Babies provides income that puts good food on literally hundreds of tables worldwide. They consider each and every staff member, distributor, retailer and customer part of their extended Cotton Babies team.
