I was hoping this top would work for me but it did not. The length was too long (am high waisted) and the flap part was not discreet/did not look like a feature of the shirt but rather screamed "nursing tank". But, that may have been due to my large breasts so the flap didn't lie flat on me, it sort of stuck out. Also,.the shirt was very tight in the stomach area but not thick enough to "hold in" and flatter, rather it was thin and accentuated every bump and lump (like even the pockets on my jeans). I got some fab nursing dresses this summer from this site with the same idea (empire lift up) and they were so flattering and stylish I was hoping the same from this top. Unfortunately this brand didn't work for me. I had to return. I did like the material, but again, too form fitting for my current postpartum shape. Am 5'8" 34F cup and 158lbs (btwn 8-12 pants size depending on brand).

I love this top! I started out with the black one and quickly ordered 2 more (teal and watermelon) when I saw they were on sale. The black one has washed well (cold and later flat) and milk stains come out easily. I didn't need to use any special detergents or stain removers. The ease of nursing is amazing. I wear this tank with the bravado silk bra and it works very well without a cover. My husband even told me he couldn't see anything when I was nursing. My only complaint is that you can semi see my belly button through the teal shirt, but I know as soon as I lose my belly weight it won't be noticavle at all. This shirt fits true to size. It is not too tight or too lose. For reference I am 5'4 and 140 pounds. I ordered a medium.

The quality of Boob really makes their items worth the price. I LOVE the Warming Wool nursing bra and singlet. Overall, I like this top. The fabric is soft and feels substantial, and it has held up well through many washes. It has gone in the dryer a few times but usually I line-dry it. I wear it on its own to bed, or as an under-layer during the day. My only issue with it is, it does not provide much support--it is essentially a tube top with a second layer over the chest area--so when I wear it during the day I end up wearing a nursing bra underneath, which works just fine but kind of defeats its purpose. For sizing reference, I currently wear a 34D, am 5' 3" and weigh about 135lbs, and the size small fits well.

I love BOOB brand nursing clothes. This tank fits well and is very flattering. I love the nursing opening style and can nurse discreetly in public. I bought a small in two colors and am about 7 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy size. These fit me well. This is a snug, fitted style so if you are looking for something loose you should size up or skip this brand all together. These wash and wear well and are made very well. Would highly recommend this brand. I have 3 tanks and 4 shirts and wear them all the time. They are nice and long and you can scrunch them in the middle to conceal post-baby bulge. Also, Figure 8 has these priced well - other sites sell them for much more.

I normally wear an XS, but since it wasn't offered, I bought a Small, and it was still fine. A little long, but good around the chest area. It isn't as sheer as it looks in this picture, though you can see the line of material by the straps. But overall the material is nice and thick, and you can't even see bra straps through it. Great layering piece. I love Boob nursing wear!

Boob makes the best clothes! I searched for a good 15 weeks trying to mind a nice fitting, non-see through white nursing tank and my search is finally over! This one is perfect. I even found I can wear the panel that covers the boobs under my chest to gain several inches to cover my growing bump. The top layer still keeps me perfectly covered. These tanks are the best!!

The sizing seems to be totally based on bust size. A medium fits too snug around the midsection (10 weeks postpartum) but the large is far too large in the bust so the flap doesn't lie flat. Not really a problem with the piece itself but because I'm still in the process of losing the baby weight nothing fits right.

I love the design of the Boob shirts. They are perfect for smaller chested women as the built-in bras don't work well if you aren't bigger than a C-cup. I'd give this 5 stars but because it's white it's a little see through where there is no overlay. Not that big of a deal though.

About Boob Design

The idea of Boob was born on a cold, windy day in the autumn of 1999. Mia Seipel, founder of Boob, was having coffee with her sister in a park in Stockholm. Watching her sister nurse her newborn baby son, her waist was bare to the icy, northern wind, she had an idea. Deciding that it should be every mother's right to be able to nurse in comfort and in style, she developed Boob Nursing- a Swedish patented innovation with an exceptionally beautiful fit.

Boob has won dedicated fans all over the world from the day it hit our store. After discovering Boob, moms return in their subsequent pregnancies for more of their wardrobe favorites. Made with such quality, Boob garments are made to be worn, washed and loved, over and over again.

Sustainability and wholesomeness are at the heart of Boob's identity. Their garments are 100% OEKO-TEX certified. This means you have the reassurance that they have been fully tested for harmful and illegal substances. How important is this when your nursing clothes are being worn closest to your skin and you're constantly snuggling baby up to feed?

Boob is also a GOTS-Certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) company. This means that all stages of production from cotton cultivation to finished product are monitored to meet stringent social and environmental standards.

When you purchase a Boob garment, you are also making a choice for social responsibility. All Boob product takes place in Europe, and Boob works closely with their producers to ensure a clean, safe and fair workplace for all.
